forget me nots

Forget-me-nots are small, delicate blue flowers known for their symbolism of remembrance and lasting connection and an Alzheimer’s awareness symbol.  Common meanings include: Remembrance, True love, Faithfulness and Memory of loved ones.

A popular European legend says a knight gathering flowers for his beloved fell into a river and threw the bouquet to her shouting “Forget me not!”
